    Mean machine Motor...

So I have been running my mean machine with a 1515 1.5y for awhile now... I am thinking of turning it into a 4s boat.... and trying a leopard 4074..

My question is weather I should go with the 2000kv motor or the 2200kv motor.... or on another note should I step up to the 4082 (1521 equivelant)?

I run a hydra 120 in her now with no issues.... even run on 6swith a x440 prop, with the 1515 1.5y (1500kv) neu...... and would like to keep the hydra in there because my seaking/turnigy 180's don't fit well in the mean machine as I have a subhatch which makes for a tight fit...

Mine is getting the 2200 and 4S and will try spinning a 545. Then 6S and around a 640 or 440

I run the 2200kv 4074 on 4s with a x445 and it runs quite well. Never had any heat issues.
I have a 4082, I think they are going to be sweet motors, but I dont think they make a kv above 1600 in the 4082 so you wouldnt be turning a lot of RPM on 4s.

Yeh I was thinking stay with 6s if I went with the 4082..... obviously bigger esc then too.... but the x445 is to much prop for my setup with the 2200 I believe...

I thought it would be a lot for mine, but it runs pretty cool. Just running a SF120 esc. I run it in a supervee that runs pretty dry though, you may have different results with the MM.

I just picked up a UL1 motor (2030kv) to run in my mean machine. any suggestions on prop size on 4s with intentions of goin to a 5s setup with either the ul1 esc or a 120a turnigy?

I had exactly the same thought, to replace the 1515 1.5Y with a 4s motor so tried the Infinite 1650kv one with custom carbon cooling jacket on 4s with the 646/3 aquastar 120. it went pretty well, motor was cool and ordered also the 1860kv for a test
