As long as its a high quality oil there are many options. And I dont think there is one all encompassing answer. Personally,............I dont lube anything with less the Militec-1 oil unless its my garage door sliding mechanism. But for my fishing reels, my firearms, my boat motor bearings. Anything where excellent lubricity qualities are required. I have settled on one choice. Is it the right choice? You be the judge.

I use waylube 150, or 300. I snag some from work. The 300 is awesome for oiling the flexshafts, and 150 for bearings, etc..

Just needle oiler with trinity bearing oil is what I use. Easy and just a drop on each is all that is needed. You need thin oil to get past the shields and to the bearings

Once I had a wall heater fan motor seizing up. No replacements available. I cleaned and tried every oil I could think of and after 10 minutes or so it would seize. I was at ACE one day and came across a small squeeze bottle of Turbine oil. The fan has run for 2 seasons. Gotta be a good Hi temp oil that takes abuse. I wonder ?

I've also been using Trinity oil for ages but more recently Speed-X made by Corrosion-X seems to be working pretty well.

Hair clipper oil made by Wahl or Andis. Very thin oil and it is widely available at beauty supply stores or even Walmart. My barber gave me a small tube of Andis oil and it has lasted me over 2 seasons so far

Quantum Hot Sauce Reel Oil has worked well for me. Comes with a pinpoint oiler and is reasonably priced ~ $7

I wouldn't use anything else after having some of that. If awesome could be bottled, this would be IT
