    hydra 120 feiago 10l set up

    l have a hydra 120 esc and feiago 10l prop is 440 octura, on depp vee hull about 25". Ran it today for first time on 2s nano hk lipos ran it for couple of runs check temps and motor and esc were hot 125 and 145, what l'm doing wrong??

    try 3s i thing 2s is too low voltage and its putting a strain on your motor

      plus those motors run alittle hot do you have a water cooler for the motor?

          Not enough information to help you. How long did you run it to get the temperatures you listed? Actually those temps are not bad if you ran for 5-6 minutes - most BL motors will handle 145F fine but not more. The ESC is pretty warm. Using 3S may get the boat running more freely and reduce drag and temperatures, or using a larger prop can help - an x642 will increase speeds. But if your boat runs wet going to 3S could be a mistake. Knowing the run time is critical.
