First big cat

Hello guys.
I'm in the process of researching for a bigger cat than my 34 inch EKOS.
So far I have found some options:
HPR135, 135cm, 560 dollars
H&M Agitator XL 120 135cm, 197 dollars

There is a large difference in price so I guess I'm wondering if the HPR is worth the difference, and also any other pros and cons that may exclude one of the hulls. Also any ideas for setups for either of these hulls will be great. When buying one of these hulls, does it come with flex shafts and flex shaft housing or is that considered accessories for these types of hull? The last issue is where is the best place to get hardware for the hulls?

Both cats you mentioned are just awesome.

H&M will have less details in the hull.

I prefer the HPR personally I would up the extra coin,

I personally own 2 HPR115's. One in plain glass layup and the other in a carbon/kevlar.
The 115 would cost less than the 135's. Not sure why you were thinking 135 when the 115 are 45". Bigger than the EKOs for sure. There are many different ways to build up these cats. I like mine scale therefore I went with Hanspeters rudder, arneson drives and hydraulic arms. But if you search HPR08 or 07 you can see a build by Kevin,he uses standard rudders x2 and strut drives. Do a search and have a read around. And it also depends on how fast you want to go and how deep of a pocket/s you have. The sky is the limit as they say, but with that I would caution jumping into a big project like a twin. I have seen guys get in over their heads with big builds with inexperience as well as cost!!
BTW, I have no experience with the H&M. But the same thing, there are some H&M builds on here that you need to search and read. One is an agitator and another is a maritimo. G/L with your decision.

I also own 2 HPR-115's both glass layup and they are very stable and you can't beat the scale looks! Both have the scale gear from Hanspeters
