    Here are the results.

    Protek 4200 45C x445 46.5 mph

    Venom 5000 30C X645 48.7 mph

Feel like with the 645 and the protek it will easily run in the low 50s

Very satisfied no adjustments on CG or prop angle on the lake. CG right at 10"
Prop angle pretty much flat with hull. Handled like a dream

Temps got to around 140 on the motor about 110 on the speed control and about that on the batteries. What should be my Max temps?

Thanks again for all the info.

I was close! I'll just pretend I was exactly right and your GPS was wrong! I think electric was closer??

ESC and batteries seem fine. I like my motors in the 120's range along with batteries how long were you running it?

I did some comparison with Venoms but I didnt want to jack his thread so I started one:

To the OP, I bet you could hit 50 with the x645. If not with the 2 Protec 4200's, at least with 6s2p

That's not too bad then in my opinion I'm not sure what others shoot for though. Obviously the cooler the better esc wise. Batteries I think are fine and motor a little warm. Do you have 1 cooling line for both motor and esc? If not you could do a dual pickup. I'd imagine you have it that way though.

I am a little surprised on the top seed on the m445. I hit the 645 perfect. Really, I have over time discovered that the speed calculator that Steven has here on the tips forum is usually pretty accurate. It really is a great tool for estimating how fast a boat will go.

One cooling line will most likely add a 2nd pickup.

After 4 more runs today on a smooth lake the X445 running the 4200 45Cs or 5000 30Cs are consisently producing runs between 44-46 mph. Motor temp topped out at 140 after a 2 min wide open run. Batteries and ESC around the 105 range.
