There is a race at the ozarks called the shootout. I go every year. As i have mentioned before dave scott (the old budweiser cat) is a friend of mine. This year they are having a "mini" shootout. It is for r/c boats. Here is the link for it. I wasnt sure if anyone was close enough to go but i will be there. There is a rumor that the mis geico twin turbine rc cat will be there.

I had the BEST video spot for years at the other side on the timing lights. Now I will be in my pontoon since I am only 10 miles by water.
I really want to go run this with my hotel as the sponsor. Just not sure what to run. Was thinking MM with 2200 Leopard and 6S should be closer to 70 if I can keep it on the water. Should be most gas boats. If I had a good rigger I would run that.

Oh, I hear Callan could be bringing several boats and someone said he can get in the 250 mph with it....doubt it but I did see 209 mph from 50 feet away...check out my youtube. I know John and will write him. I sent him the video you see on my youtube where he almost lost it at over 200 when the rudder sheared. -
There will be several boats there this year trying to break 200! Unfortunately i wont be able to see the shootout because its my 2 year anniversary w my better half.
The MM sounds like a good choice for that water....IF you can keep it in the water!!!
I dont have a boat ready to run the shoot out but i am definately gonna be there to see it. I have everything but a hull right now. Low funds. I do have a SV but that wont cut the mustard.
Ill check out your videos. This will be the first one ill miss in a lot of years. Ill be there by boat. All white 42 fountain most likely. If you gonna be there for the mini shoot out well have to meet up. I wanna see you run that MM.

Radar Gun....2 runs then pay for more runs. Not sure I can make it...short one pack for 6S. I was thinking about the leopard 2200 HK 180 and a big blade.
