Well, the high end self righting hulls would be the ToysPort hulls Scroll down, for a cheaper set-up you can grab a SV27 and do the flood chamber mod. Chuck is a cool dude. Or you can grab a R2 hobbies Arowana, but those are cheap hulls. That's all I can think of, Happy Boating...

I have thought about doing one. Sounds like a kool build. Heres a link to a MHZ (nice high end /quality hull) that can give you good advice.

HK had a jolly motor offshore the other day but with a flood chamber. They are out now, but you could watch for a new shipment. They were in the $115 range plus $20's shipping I think? Look it up, no radio.

Please please please do a review of that one when you get it!
I was looking at that as a replacement for the cracker boxes. Went out running again tonight and the younger boys keep flipping them it seems. Self righting would be very helpful, along with scale looks.

              Thank you, Brian

Oh, your mini Vee is running awesome.

Well, there goes another of our products destroyed by HK's giveaway pricing. We were about ready to restock the Jollymotor with the flood chamber but now will be advising the manufacturer that we will no longer do business with them. Quite a few manufacturer's in China are learning the hard way that by selling to HK, they destroy their worldwide market. HK will sell anything for a $10 profit. Sorry, but we can't stay in business doing that especially when shipping cost alone is $30 a boat! Some of the more enlightened manufacturer's are avoiding HK like the plague. The best example is TFL that makes the Genesis. HK is selling the Genesis for what it costs us. We almost brought them into our product line but thank God we waited long enough to see HK pick them up. TFL management is now hurting big time. They have lost their worldwide market. Worldwide, there are FAR more boats bought from them than HK will every buy! More and more Chinese factories are learning all the time to NOT sell to HK. In the meantime, it's putting a real hurt on the hobby business in the USA.

Sorry for the sour grapes but we work our hearts out to provide incredible customer service and hours on the phone giving advice, etc. only to learn that people are buying from HK.

Not sure where you got $341.94. The boat is $299 complete with radio. Just add battery. Shipping is $25 because it is oversize and has to go fedex. Maybe you included a battery in the price to get that quote? Not sure.

As far as I know you won't find another self righting boat without a chamber. Our Velocity Mono is self righting as a happy accident. Our design just seemed to produce the self righting action. We don't even know why ourselves.

My point was that don't expect to get much from anywhere except HK in the future if their giveaway practices continue.

I have spent a lot of time on the phone with you and happy to do it. But as long as everybody just wants cheap and doesn't care about customer service, maybe HK is the way to go. For some strange reason I think my support is worth something. Maybe I'm wrong.

OK, forgot about the sales tax. Wish there was something I could do about that but unfortunately I can't.

You could try a MHZ USA Gozilla Mono. They claim it is self righting without using a flood chamber. BG

The MHZ Gozilla is an old design, originaly by Hopf Germany.
Designed for NimH cells ( as described on the site : 6-8 cells)
With current cells, lipo, it does NOT flip-over/back !

Gerwin,I guess you may have some experience with this hull. Is it possible this boat has been has had a retrofit as the CURRENT website states the boat runs
on 3s lipos and is in fact self righting. I am just trying to help this chap out. BG
