SV 27 of DF 26 copy ??

I have an sv27 that has a proboat BJ26 motor and needs an esc, but I can't decide if I want to put an esc in the sv or sell it and put the money towards a DF 26 copy ( Prince )

The Prince looks like a sweet deal, is there any weak points in the Prince that I should be aware of ? are the motor and esc decent ?

The hulls are great. Can't say much about the electronics that comes with it. They will out handle a SV. Fqdawld runs one with a 8xl and it rips!

Their like every other China ARTR boat. Crap electric's and the nightmare 4mm square drive. I've seen vid of the df clones and the run real nice with some tlc, i plan on getting a pursuit very very soon which is like a df33 clone/copy. Jan at Kintec Racing will sell you one with 3/16 drive, sell the SV, bj motor, prince esc and motor and buy something better. Seaking marine 120 and a 8xl like baked mentioned would run nice or ul-1 power. Def get rid of the 4mm and stock electrics. JMO Happy boating.

Buy a DF 29 or 33 and you will be a happy camper and buy it from OSE.

Yep, do what Douggie said. Buy the DF 29 hull, and transfer all the hardware and elec. from the SV to the Delta Force! You'll love it!

Ran the Prince today, Bone stock on 3s and it runs decent and handles like a dream, I am gonna pick up a 4s tomorrow, It could use some more top speed.

I think I am gonna pick up a Turnigy Nano-tech 4s so I can charge it at 5c, it should only take about an hour to charge a 5000mah at 5c right? One of my local hobby shops carry them and they are open Sundays :)

5C charging ideally should yield a 12 minute charge time. However, when balance charging, that can vary greatly.
