My Df33 runs very well with CG 10 inches from the rear. My batteries are low in the hull and behind the motor. From looking at it I would guess that you might want to get the cg back towards the rear.

Which cooler do you have? Remember the machined aluminum xl cooler is too long to fit between the front and rear mount. You need the shorter of the two xl cooling cans that ose sells.

Where I'm at right now with cooling installed. Strapped Batteries. Ordered 5.5 bullets and more 10g wire. Balanced and sharpened x445. X645 next

Programmed ETTI yesterday. You would think with technology where it is there would be an easier way to program or at least a better set of instruction (even watched the video) anyway I think I have it set.

Got brave and decided to run it in a small pond behind my house. Ran for about a minute then checked temps motor < 110 degrees ESC a little cooler. Ran a total of about 5 mins. Not a fair run pretty much on and off the throttle and almost constant turning. I sure this is not good on it.

Seemed to be running a little wet need to check CG. Where do you guys recommend setting the stinger outdrive. Mines pretty flat with the hull. Any other suggestions greatly appreciated.

        Thanks

On mine the stinger is set level with the hull. Trim tabs very slightly negative. I bet you cg is pretty far forward right now. Somehow set it at 10 inches from the rear and go from there.

Thanks I was looking last night at moving the esc forward to the Battery platform and moving batteries back to each side of the motor. Seems like this would also balance things out a little more side to side. Could also shorten the esc wires by doing that.

            Thanks Again

I would epoxy two strips of aluminum 90 angle metal on either side of the motor and roll out a 2-inch strip of velcro along side both. That will give you more flexibility for C.O.G. adjustment and the 90 metal will keep the batts. from hitting the motor.

Here is where i'm at as far as CG. Its between 9 1/2 and 10 from back with batteries in front. Is this close enough. I'm afraid if I move them to the sides it will move my CG too far the other way. What do you think?

Ok was not happy with the lack of ability to move weight around so here is my final setup. I really like the motor to esc wiring distance basically none The shorter the better right?. Batteries on the side obviously allow more movement fore and aft. What do you think ?

                      Thanks Again

No motor mount cooler. Went to OSE cooling jacket.

                              that's better now, nice job!

you can direct cooling water to the mount and jacket and can use bullet connecors

can i reccomend that you send the water to the ESC first and the motor ?
