I'd like to take a sec and break a little news on something I am working on. It's in the very early stages. I will be opening a chat room for us guys to use. It will be a way to have real time conversations and debate some of our most popular subjects. It will be open 24 hours and will be owned, hosted, moderated by Me the Mrs. and I plan to make a couple people hosts & owners at first. I will add hosts as I feel people are ready and it's needed. There will also be basic information available for newbs or anyone who needs it. It works like this. I will have a script or bot in the room that runs off command prompts. I will program the bot with proven basic information on hulls, hardware, power systems, props ect. It is capable of some fun stuff as well. You can prompt user names and have quotes generated. Funny stuff. The script will also generate links to the ose forum, store. There will be no profanity, or disrespectful behavior tolerated at all. The script will detect cursing and automatically ban you from the room for a predetermined amount of time. Hosts may also monitor the room for such activity but are in no way police. They are there to help users get the information they need and guide users in the use of the bot for instances when hosts are not available. The bot will have a help prompt to list all commands in the even a host it away. There is much much more the bot can do also. Well that’s about the size of it guys. I need to get my but out into the shed and build a server in order to keep the room up un interrupted. I would be great full for any help programming the script as far as information. Look for the room to come up late October early November. Just in time for the winter build season. Se you all there hopefully.
