    Motor timing for 5807l 1898kv

    NEED SOME HELP WITH THE TIMING SETUP FOR MY BIG 580 7L, IT SEEMS TO RUN VERY HOT- ITS IN A DF33 WITH A 200AMP HIMODEL 4-8S AND X447 PROP. PLEASE IF ANYONE CAN HELP, OR HAS EXPERIENCE WITH THIS MOTOR

    I've used this motor in my 31" mono. I used to run a x447 up to a m646 with good results. This motor didnt care for the 447/3. Timing was at 15 degrees. Motor after a two and a half minute run would be under 120 degrees.

      No wonder mine is an x447-3, so go with the 2 blade then?

        It's worth a try. It will put less load on the motor. I must also correct myself. I was running a m447 not and x447 two blade.

              Yes sir. It also pulled the rpms down and was amp hungry. I don't have my notes with me but on my setup it was a noticeable difference.
