They have similar design, both are considered Hacker clones. But the Feigao is made by a much larger/ better managed company using much better materials\process\workmanship.

like vasy I would also forget each of them and goto one of the 4 pole motors out there.

Keda has high inefficiency. The Feigao is a better motor.

Feigo is the cheapest yet best quality for the price. I have had good success with FSD which comes form the same manufact with better tolerances than KEDA. But Feigo still wins for tried and true....Steve now has the Leopard and for a little more money you are getting a great built motor that compares to Castle/Neus.

I have been very impressed with outrunners...love the torque and low amps they do. Smaller ESCS handle them well. Torue is massive with killer punch out of the hole and corners.

I think I'm going to order one of the turnigy outrunners myself, maybe the Typhoon 500 1800kv. I normally try to stay away from cheapo parts but from what I've seen so far I wouldn't complain for $25

                      Het Ozzie. How you doin'.
Been a while since we crossed threads. But since this thread has turned to the little Typhoon 500 motors I thought I'd vouch for the little buggers.
I 've got a couple. Ones in my little 25" DF flop (The Red Devil) & Pete, at our club, has one in a Drifter.

Here's a video of Pete driftin' the Drifter through a few turns testing out an X645 on 4s to give you an idea. Two of these in your cat would be a blast. They are rated to 6s but neither of us have tried that yet.

And here's the Red Devil with one, on 4s spinning an X440/3 blade. Old man Richard was trying Lipos for the first time in his Hydro, so I went out to dog him. Neither of us could handle our new setups.

                      Cheers.
                      Paul.

                        hi paul,hows things up north

thanks for that, the drifter was moving out very nicely,is that the same size as the apparition ?
think i have decided to go with a single leopard,as i have batteries for a single setup and would be a better quality setup.
but after looking at that video hmm twins lol

                          Hi ya.
Things are all good up here pal.
No, the Drifter is smaller at 26" I think, but not sure.

The Leopard sounds like a good choice. It's going to be the next motor I buy. They sound like a good motor from what I've read around the traps.

                          All the best.
                          Paul.
