motor for a Keywest

I have a old graupner keywest and was thinking of putting a small
bl motor and esc to use as a retrieval boat but not sure what to use?
I just thought using a couple of 1300mah 2s packs would be cheap because
back when it ran it was on 1200mah NiCad.Any ideas would be great.
