Apparition on 6s? (HiModel 125a ESC)

Has anyone tried to run the stock Apparition 125a ESC on 6s?

    It's rated 125a, 7s.

I ran mine on 6S the other day while I was waiting for my 2S packs to arrive. Ran okay & what I thought was the esc cutting out was in fact my receiver pack getting low. Not used to using a separate pack.

I have no way of measuring speed or temps but both motor & esc you could touch for the "Old 10 second rule"

    Cheers
The older I get the BETTER I was..

      OK. I've wired it up to a KD 3674 15xl 1100Kv... we'll see if it handles 6s!
I'm thinking an x442 is the right prop, but starting with a 438. Fingers crossed!

Just an update, so far so good. Running 6s w/15xl 1100Kv. Nice and cool.

Seems high V, low Kv = good times.

yes low amp draw.... the higher kv with more voltage = less amps....

hence why I've been able to run my mean machine with a NEU 1515 1.5y (1500kv) on 6s with a Castle lv120 with no issues for 2yrs now.... less amps... a 1515 1y(2200kv) would have probably smoked the little lv120 by now on only 4s lipo....

What propeller do you use with 1100kV motor? X445, X447, K51?

t180 1515 2200kv on 6s works great for me ive now used the suppo 125wc for 3 runs in my oval master 21 on a bj motor and its sick fast but low rpm is sloppy up top of the rpm band its more detailed in its trigger movements
btw using a stock bj26 prop

                      2200kv * 6s = 48,840 unloaded RPM's. That's sounds crazy high.

I'm working my way up. I just use an m445 with good results. I'm going to try a K45 to see if the results are the same. I have an x447 to try and maybe try a K51.
