    Quick ?

Has anyway tried or does it work? Using the hk turnigy marine esc programming box on a hobbywing seaking branded esc. I understand they are the same esc's but was curious if the box's are interchangable. I would assume they do. Same question goes for the aquastar programming box with a swordfish esc. Box's look the same, just wondering if HK messed with the programming in anyway. I know when you plug the aquastar esc into the hk programmer it says "aquastar" on the display. Thanks in advance.

Also the Venom branded programming box works with both seaking and turnigy esc's.They ar all the same. The programming boxes give I think 12 options-they only let me select the 1st four though.Dont know why.

Venom esc's only have the 4-options too. Because they are turnigy/seaking esc's with venom stickers on them.

You have the wrong box. There is a version for the land based esc's which is what you have. You may actually not be setting anything with it. I have one of those that I got with a small 1:18 scale Hobbywing esc/motor combo for a mini truck.

My turnigy box does the same thing. List 12 options, but when plugged into the esc only gives four choices. In the instruction manual for the esc it says when using the marine based esc's with the programming box only four options are avaible and when using with land based esc's all options are avaible. Theirs a different chart for the marine in the instructions completly different then the sticker on the box. I programmed it disconnected the box hooked it back up and the setting stayed set to my settings.

Any one try the aquastar box on the swordfish, same thing I take it?

No, box is the same just number of options is different in Car ESC, Matine ESC and plane ESC. It is the same box but the sticker on the front is different. You can download faces on the HK website under file for that box.

Generally, marine ESC's are limited to 4 options, LVC, Timing, PWM, Brake. The program box is the same for cars and aircraft. Those esc's have more options programmable. It's a function of the esc, not the box.

The Aquastar and Swordfish are identical. The Turnigy Marine and Seaking are identical. The Aquastar/Swordfish is made by Heifei, The Turnigy/Seaking is made by Hobbywing.

Hobbyking is famous for slapping different labels on products they buy elsewhere. HK doesn't make anything.
