I finally had a chance to run the boat yesterday.. I had about seven minutes total run time.. The motor was at 110 F, batteries at about 101 F, and the Speed control was about 94 F when it came off the water. This is with 68/49 gears (1.38:1). I think the boat was running a little wet so next time I need to move the packs back in the boat a bit.. The last time I ran it it seemed faster with the packs further back in the boat. It was also only 65 F yesterday so that probably affected the lipos right?

                River Rat,

My Titan has a lexan subhatch that I tape down with radiobox tape. I haven't had a problem with it yet..

                  Subhatch works great, Thanks.

Need some more info if you guys have the time.
This boat has a Hacker 8xl and hacker 125 esc. What do I need to program the esc and were can I find it?
The setup was for lipos 4350mah 20c two parallel and two in series, What would be a good brand of lipo? And last what would be a smoken gear combo w/ what prop?

I can answer some of your questions. For lipos, I would either go with Polyquest brand Lipos, or NEU brand lipos. They are about the same thing. It might be a bit easier to order them from the NEU motor website. They sell them at a shipped price and they are supposed to be someo of the best!!!!

The polyquest/hobby-lobby balancer from hobby-lobby.com works well. It is branded hobby-lobby but is indeed a PQ balancer. price is about 33$ shipped.

For programming the Hacker ESC you can use the trigger on your throttle and porgram some of the basic functions. But for lipo cut off and all that, you need the Hacker Programming Box. They run about 40$ new, but I am sure if you ask in the swap shop here or in the one at Rumrummerracing.com you can find a used one for less. I did.

                      Hope this helps!

                        Titan Upgrades

Make sure when you buy the lipos that they are using enerland cells. I know that they are used by Poly RC and Thunder Power, I'm not sure but I've heard Polyquest uses them as well. Neu has great motors, does anyone know for sure if Steve uses enerland cells as well.
Hyperion has awfull good balancers, I would recommend them as well as their 1210i charger.
Chris is right on about the hacker program box. If you can find one used even better. That box makes programming the hacker ESC's a breeze. Make sure you don't over load any of the hacker ESC's. There a great esc, but when they blow up it does some much smoke damage to your boat you want to cry. Alchohol will take out the residue, but you will never get the smell out of it. I've had this misfortune twice.
                        Good Luck,

The Neu cells are not Enerland cells. Everyone says they are good though.

Polyquest are all Enerland. Actually, I think Polyquest is Enerland. I have some small 2s1p 1200Mah 20c Enerland packs that I use in my Vendetta ST. They look IDENTICAL, fake-deans and all to the Polyquest packs, but they do not say polyquest anywhere. Just "Enerland". Infact, my "Polyquest 4350/25c 2s1p" packs say Enerland on them also.

I do not know what the NEU cells are exactly, but they state 25/30c continuous on their packs. I would buy them if the price was right.

Just a side note, I am no lipo expert, but I have heard good lipos make all the differance. I have decided myself to skip the BS and I run only Polyquest packs. So far they have worked EXCELLENTLY and have tons of punch.

I'd post pics but my gear is all packed up for the race tomorrow

As for Hackers. I run a Hacker 77 on a Sv27 brushless motor, so it does not even begin to pull 77amps, only around 40 amps, but I here what Ken says about them not taking much over there rated limit. A friend of mine was running a 8xl on a Hacker 70. Couple of times in the weeds and POOOOOF!!!! Magic smoke everywhere! If it was me and I was buying new I would go with a CC Hydra 120.
