Oh it can be done. I started to mod a nitro Miss Miller (same hull you have). I started with my known 1/8th scale setup: Plett 370 10S and Schultze 40.160 controller. I only put enough effort in to it to test run late last year. But the drive line wasn't entirely right so I put her in dry dock and have not messed with her since. Well, a little. Motor placement will be the same area as the nitro motor. The nitro mount recommended adds strength to the hull so you may want to think about your mount. I will try to find some shots and post in the next day or so.

Hi Hughie. Great boat. Could you post some specs on the hull? Length, Width, Tunnel width, etc... This will aide in making some power option suggestions.

3 motor combos that will work 1527 (1.5D?) Plett 370 outrunner 4035? The hull I have was built on the light side. I think it was 6-7# less motor. If built to the kit it does come in a bit heavier. The way that the hull is designed to work you have to set the strut high to let the rear ride pads work properly without stuffing the nose too much. You want the no trip portions of the canoe to be higher than the actual ride surface. It may seem silly but the nitro driver who owned the hull had the strut waaaaay too low shoving the nose down too much. W

When I did run it...she was very stable and tracked well.

lets not forget the the kb the screamer and some others too i think we are slowly finding out that there are alot of options all dictated by price and praticality. Seems the most important thing is finding the right prop motor kv and battery cell count. The more expensive motors will be a little more forgiving when abused but it seems you need a motor from maybe 500 grams to 800 grams a battery cell count and motor kv that puts prop speed between 25and 30k and props from 45 to 60mm diameter and the right pitch that take experimentation. When you nail down a power plant the guys on here will help you chose a good prop. Get you fe calc too that at least give you an idea of what going on.

              Here is my Miss Miller.

Forgive the crude canopy taped together.

I made the engine mount in a box shape to retain hull integrity.

              (2) 5S packs go in the nose with the controller.

Ask if you have anymore ?'s.

Beautiful! Is that canard wing adjustable? If so, I bet that will come in handy.

Yes, it is. But I don't think it really helps that much. When I did run it the tail feathers and the turbine air inlet seem to cause alot of drag. It would take a few trips to the pond to get it adjusted correctly.
