LiPo lead failure

    LiPo lead failure

    This was a cold solder joint that came apart on a Flighmax 5000mAh 4S pack. I can see the pad on the circuit board inside. Can this be re-soldered? Do you need a "special high temp"solder?

    had this, I just used regular electric solder and it worked well.
    Just need to have good soldering iron.

      I have done the same with no problem. Just use caution........you dont need any mishaps with your face that close while working on it.
      PT-45, 109mph, finally gave up after last bad crash

          This just happened to a friend of mine today on a 4s 5000mah pack. I think it was the same brand.
