    1/8 to 3/16 drive dog?

I have a Miss Elam that I want to run 3/16 props on, so I bought a prop adapter sleeve from Steve and a 40mm glass filled prop. Now I need a bigger drive dog to fit the prop better. It has a 1/8 drive dog on it now but I also have a 3/16 drive dog, but how do I get it to fit on the 1/8 shaft?

    Thanks, Chris

That won't throw the prop out of balance?

      Thanks, Chris

Nope,as long its tighten good.Thats why OSE doesn`t mention that you need to also adapt the 3/16 drive dog when buying the Brass adapter sleeve.Just the prop. You can also go 2 sizes bigger props with another sleeve, one inside each other.Go to OSE store page and click on tips, you`ll find there how to do this yourself, very intructive.
Also,If too much xtra shaft after the prop, you can fit a little piece of silicone tubing between the prop and nut and it works great.....Al

I have an old Warehouse Hobbies Force22 hull with props fitted just like yours, from 1/8 to 3/16 with my own made adapter sleeve. The boat is hotrodded with a big olskool 700 brushed motor on 2-7.2 or 8.4 nimh packs and have never failed me!!!!...So i know first hand.
As i recommended go ahead and click the "tips" link on top of the page and learn a lot of things you can do yourself.Good luck and enjoy your boat!!!!,....Albert
