I thought that ESC was only rated at 3s... I may be wrong though. Drop a Turnigy/Seaking 120 in it and be done. I use a Turnigy/Seaking 180 in mine, but I also slapped a HUGE motor in it.

You can either order from HK if you don't mind the wait or just order from Jan at Kintec in get it in like 3-5 days compared to ????? days from HK.

http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbyking/s...hless_Boat_ESC (well theri on BK from HK as always so use Kintec.

I'm not sure Jerry, anytime I need to get ahold of Jan I usually just email him. He is normally pretty quick about responding to emails. Sometimes it may take a day or two though if hes busy.

Laddie, go back to your other previous threads on this same hull and answer some basic questions and you might get some replies there are possibilities you have damaged the motor etc. with your first setup.

The one that came with it was a 125 Amp and that blew. So is this 120 ok or do I need bigger

And if I go really big like 150 or 200 dose that hit anything

Trevor, it is blatantly obvious that you are out of your depth. We are here to try and help you and stop you burning up your equipment. Keep it simple, one thread and answer the questions as you have not done that. We want you to have a happy experience with FE boating
                    Questions
What prop and motor, is the drivetrain free of any resistance, is the boat running wet, cog and strut positions determine that.

All I was trying to find out was if I put a bigger amp esc in
Does that hurt anything ( like. If the motor only needs 80 to 120 amps can I put a bigger 180 amp esc in ,or will the bigger one try to suck more amps , trying to figure out if the number is what it draws or what it's ok up to 180 Does that make sence

The swordfish 120 from here on OSE will work............its priced fairly and there is minimal shipping charge and time. If you want cheaper, the Turnigy 120a esc form hobbyking will work, i have several and they are good esc's. Your stock ESC is basically a bargain basement cost cutter piece of equipment........it may have not had the cooling plates touching more than 10% of the fets...........etc..............lots of things could have gone wrong..........binding in the driveline etc.............
