Hey guys, I currently have a MHZ Shockwave-M that I really love, built it about two years ago. I currently have a Barracuda 80 with a Feigao XL. I am using a 2s 25C 5800 for my putting around runs and a 3s 25C 4900 for fast runs. Forgot what exactly the motor is. I used to do 3s mostly but now I am perfectly happy with using 2s and just putting around, especially because the lake I run on is so rough. The problem is, I flip the boat over so much now that I am getting tired of retrieving it. I have been looking into boats with flood chamber and want to stay as small as possible. The ozone seems to be a perfect candidate. But on to my questions. Keep in mind a budget of about $500.

1. The hardware on the boat seems kind of skimpy. Is this because the boat is meant to be a race boat? Would it be good for turning in both direcions?
2. Since I haven't been in the RC game for a long time, what is a good ESC and motor combo for the boat? Remember I'm not looking for super fast, just long run times and staying cool. 30 MPH is plenty for me. I would kind of like the ability to throw in a 3s and go fast though.
3. Any better hull options out there?
