    driveline heat ideas?

I am running 1/4" cables and have them at slight curve but had a ton of heat on the drive tubes and the motor shaft. I had to bring it in early due to one collet coupler had started slipping. I can excuse the heat on that side but the other was nearly if not just as hot. Plenty of lube was in tubes. The other side had no gap in the drive dog to strut after the run but started with a good 3/16" so I am starting to figure infact both couplers were slipping. After that what temp on the drive tubes is safe for your epoxy and the characteristics of the brass tube? Is there a way to use the waste cooling water to take heat away without choking the flow from esc, motor?
