Hobbypartz isn't bad, it is an offshoot of NitroModels and is located in CA. HiModel is a great Chinese based distributor that has cheaper EMS shipping and I have always receive my stuff in 5 calendar days to Minnesota.
    Good Luck,
    Curtis

thanks guys I tracked my package and usps says its undeliverable and that its being sent back to HK. I contacted HK to find out whats going to happen and they said if it comes back I have to pay shipping all over again this has me very steamed and ticked off. so thanks for the help I will check those guys out.

You don't see 25C packs on the rclipos.com site?

                http://rclipos.com/PolyRC_XP.htm for PolyRC/Polyquest

                http://rclipos.com/Hyperion_G3_CX.htm for Hyperion

                And why only 25C?

And after you throw a few away like I've had to because of dead cells on arrival, you may decide it's worth a bit more for quality.

yeah these were just to get me started and Make-a-wake they were the ones I switched too because I was sick of waiting on those. they are 5800mah 25c 4s I was going to run them in parallel in the boat. I am upgrading to a bigger motor so now these might just be good for my tunnel hull. I am doing a vs1 conversion as soon as I get my funds together.

On my first order, 1 out of 4 2S1P 5000Mah 30C packs were dead.
On my second order 1 out of 2 3S1P 5000Mah 30C packs were dead.

And on both orders it took a month to get here. Not worth the shipping cost to get replacements, esp. when there is a good chance that the replacement pack will also be dead...

After I factor in the cost of the dead packs, I've actually paid "full price".

You get what you pay for... I'm done with HK.

For now. They're building a plant in Midland, MI. Not sure if any will be produced for the hobby guys. Might be all industrial. Don't know much about it yet.

Not sure why that matters when talking about retailers? Just because all of the cells come from China doesn't mean that the quality of the cells and packs are equal across all manufacturers. Nor does it have anything to do with customer service from a retailer.
