Tuning for rough water I'll add up to 1 lb. of lead which brings it's weight up to 10 lbs 5 oz. but she finishes races.

You may also want to check out the MHZ Lizard Extreme and the DF cyberstorm. I have no experience with these though.

I love my Seaducer SD3 , carbon electric lay up 1515 1Y and a M447 back cut, bar cut and pitched up. Regulary 55-59 mph racing gassers and that = rough water. I think any of the hulls mentioned will do the job it is all about SET UP end of story !! HP does not mean faster if your set up is off. You need to know how to set it ie; strut depth, correct prop, strut angle and CG for different conditions. No point having a loose set up that will do 60 in wind and boat generated chop. Better off with a boat locked down some and doing low 50's. Same boat calm day and a little chop loosen her up and hang on. So I think a lot of guys chase power at the expense of LEARNING set up.

Oh I refuse to add weight, just change the above to what the conditions dictate

Put the Ferrari motor in the VW and the VW motor in the ferrari and odds on the ferrari will still win on any circuit with more than two corners !!!!!!

Jay, I built a 33.5" Wildthing around the same setup. Where's a good place to start testing prop wise? M447 until I get it sorted?

The DF cyberstorm looks sweet I might have to pick that one up. I am going to just try to make my Arowana competitive for this season. I might go with the lepord motor ose has or just run a one of these http://www.himodel.com/electric/2075...0_3674-8T.html
and a x440 3 blade prop. this is a guy on Rcgroups with the 8t motor and 3 blade x440 set up

I agree that setup is key to any boat. All hulls have limits too. They all have strengths and weakness. No matter what you choose. Test, test, test and have fun doing it.

Jason, I'm pretty sure Dick lets you guys run what you want in the OD club races but if your planning to run at the district race we have a rule that the P-mono's cant be significantly faster than the nitro guys. It's a consession we made to have the district let us run together.

That being said, I run one of Chucks X642's with a 1515 1Y in my Titan 33 and I'm as fast if not a couple mph faster than any B-mono out there. I also run a pound of lead in my boat. Like others mentioned above, once you get her together, do your time at the pond and set that sucker up to run in sloppy water. You definately have a better chance making it to the podium with a boat that finishes all it's heats rather than one thats faster and ends up on it's lid half the time.

Well I doubt this hull will perform as well as your titan33 if it is allot faster I will change props so I can compete in the p class.

I started with an x450 but in the loose running mono an x447 would work too.
