    just what are these?

    hey now:
My name is tim and i am new to building rc boats. i have been lurking on here for a few months now reading a TON of information on what to do and what not do to. I'm in the process of getting all the parts together for a build which i hope to document in the build section-if my work doesnt interfere! anyway i was hoping someone could tell me what the devices are in the photo under the bullet connectors for the batteries are. they have a balancing plug on them. some sort of low voltage cutoff? i have no idea. thanks for any input.

I second Gerwin answer. Those a LVC's from Schulze that plug into the balancing tab of the battery to monitor cell voltages.

douggie...yes i wish it was my set up. beautiful work on that boat. in fact all the boats on the hpr06 fansite are incredible. i'm still getting everything together first and was confused by what those schulze items were. my guess was an lvc, but they looked nothing like other lvc's i have seen

wow gerwin....that is an amazing boat.....wonder how many hours he put into all the cf work in it....and the anodizing as well. wish he had video of it running as well and not just the still frames. speechless and how nice it is!

one of the first rides with his boat, so he didn't push the throttle to max.
