    Hobbyking lead time?

I just placed my first order with Hobbyking for a couple of lipos, they said the order can take up to 45 days! Anybody have any experience good or bad with delivery times from HK?

there have been issues with them coming in the past due to shipping issues with the airlines. I just ordered some too we can see whos gets here the fastest. I think that if they are in stock you should see them in 2 weeks give or take depending on how you ordered them I didnt pay for the ems on mine since they havent been sending them air frieght lately.

Probably 2-3 weeks. 4 weeks is rare but possible.

I placed 2 separate orders for lipos, took a month for each order.

AND, I got 1 defective lipo in each order. They won't be getting any more of my business...

the lipo issue appears to be sorted at this end.

about 10 days on EMS (which goes via singapore post if containing lipos) from ship to delivery was my last experience a couple of weeks back.

Regular air used to be cheap and fast...now its slow as death. I think I'm done with HC for the most part anyway. The Hyperion batteries are better for not a bunch more coin.

For me HK can be a bit of hit and miss.
Some packets arrive in 5 days and some take close to 3 weeks.

I'm easy and will take it as it arrives.
I have other boats to run while I am waiting on bits for the "new" hulls

From what I can see the EMS shipping is not a lot quicker.

                          Just my thoughts for today.

On a club "combined level" through my account, I think we are at around 50 orders. Here is my advice.

If it is not in stock. RUN FROM IT

Lipos seem to be good, we have tried them all, until you drop below 1000 mah some have had a dead cell on 750mah 3s packs. I suspect with the new hextronic lipo factory things will settle down on dead cells on the smaller packs.

Shipping I still have not figured out, tried em all. Sometimes "sorting" holds it up sometimes "US customs" holds it up, at one point I was told the package goes to "parcel post" after clearing customs, the next order it went express after customs. At these prices who really cares.

yeah NEVER order anything not in stock..
most of my ems orders have been quick, until the recent fiasco shipping lipos.

fastest was order thursday and got the order monday arvo at work about 3 months back.

last order was the longest at about 10 days.
