CC hydra 240 settings for Neu 1521/1.5D

Just curious as to the settings I should use on my CC hydra 240 with my Neu 1521/1.5D. Will be using 4S lipos.

    TIA.

timing at 0 for D winds. All they do is heat up with any timing advance.

      Cool. Thanks.

Do any of you mess with the throttle and brake curves, or should I just leave them alone?
I assume a start power set to "normal" is fine as well.

I have been running mine at 0 degrees also. Yesterday was the first time I changed it to 3 degrees. It was only a tad faster and temps were same. It did however seem to run a little smoother.

I run my P mono with this setup and have always used the "low" timing setting default by Castle (7 degrees?). I've never had any heat issues, be it running as P Offshore or with a hotter prop for P mono. But, I don't think I'm maxing out the motors potential, either.

Best thing to do is test and monitor temps. Every setup is different.

I run mine with 3 degrees of timing and very healthy props. Extra cap bank helps a lot too.

I did change the throttle settings to a more progressive curve and disabled the brake.

I use four degrees advance with that motor, I wouldn't use "low" as it can go too high. I also use stock throttle curves, but 12% reverse. It is interesting how often I use the reverse when I have it available .....

I have my esc set to 4 degrees.I have not seen any temp increase over the 0 degrees timing, but like D newland I am not maxing the motor either, I am just turning a m648 on my Whip 20.
