    Central Circulating Watercooled Outrunner?

    Check it out!

    Manufacturer Website

I like the new approach. Anyone used one who could provide some test statistics?

I haven't found the manufacturer site yet. If you find it, please post and I'll update my link above.

Posted something on this a few weeks ago, and had a few comments most were that it is too small for most boats.

I think I saw this discussed before. Really great idea, very small motor. If they had one in a larger size I would be game to test one one out.

I see it with the Thunder Tiger boat, but where do they just sell the motor?

I dont think those are the same. I spoke to the company that makes tha ads-300 and they dont make a 540 motor now.

It's not the same it's off the new thunder tiger boat. I'm sure you can order it from anyone who sells thunder tiger parts.

The ads motor is very unique on how they cool the motor. I don't believe from what I've seen that they are similar. From the pictures I've seen the Thunder Tiger motor is cooled similar to a Little Screamers motor.

Direct Water Injection for cheap powerful motors.

I know this seems outrageous, but it works well and uses a 500 size helicopter motor to push a 6 pound mono 55 mph. Look at the discussions in:

                  http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...ad.php?t=14754

If you want even more power you may want to try a 600 size motor with this technique:

I ended up discussing this particular motor with some folks in Europe. The resounding consensus is that while the cooling concept is unique and attractive, the motor's performance has been poor.

I guess what we can hope for is to see them partner with another motor manufacturer.
