    proformance increase by setting timing

what kind of proformance increase should i expect by changing the timing on my aquastar to high for my3026 1900 kv on 5s or would auto timing detect do this for me?

Not familiar with your esc at all but I can promise you will make more heat than power by increasing timing.

No, you can gain more power and run better depending on the motor and poles.

You can look this up under Jay Turner's posts.

I run all my XLs at 7 now.

Outrunners need more as he said above. Innrunners do not.
