    Help with trimming a boat...please

So Guys.....I have been watching some video on You Tube of diffrent mono's running and I think I may have a issue with my OM29. My OM29 is set up with Mach 5 hardware and is powered with a 11XL and lately I have been running it on 18 IB4200's and I have been running a K42 prop. The boat is definatly quick but at top speed it it seems to be skipping (not really a porpoise like my Cesa did), by this I mean it seems like the whole boat is riseing and then dropping into the water, on my Cesa it was the bow that was going up and down (what I consider porpoising, though I could be wrong). Also once the prop seems to "hooks" up I have to dial in a lot of of steering trim to keep her going straight and she seems to exhibit a bit of chime walk. I have the strut set so that it is about 1/8" (very bottom of the strut) above the keel of the boat. My thinking is that the strut may be too low and the prop is trying to lift the boat. I have played with CG and with the 18 round cells I am running my CG right at 9" which seems to be pretty good. Right now the boat does not have any trim tabs or turn fins. What do you guys think, I just watched a video of a AM Titan that was GPS'd at 40+ MPH and the thing was super smooth and looked totally in control where as my OM29 seems a bit loose.

    Cheers,
    Jim
