Turn off the LVC on the esc... If its the older turnigy 180 before the version 2 it was a known problem... The Auto calculator for the cell count never works... I have 5 turnigy 180's the older versions do this.....

Running with out LVC can be bad for lipos if you get overly exited not?
What about pre-setting for the number of cells so you are not using auto-calc?
I noticed that stock 120 LVC seems to kick in way early unless you set it to 3.2v.

vasy u are right but i only run 5 lap races and it sits on the shelf. so far after 5 laps i have not reached even close to danger levels so i feel good about the lvc being off. by the way, it really hauls.

I run it on 2200kv 4500mah 40c 14.8v and x642 with the stock 120amp and get about 2 minutes solid run-time before LVC kicks in, but that is WOT all the time, even in turns.

I'm not sure why you need 180 with a lower KV motor. I'd say it is fast, but not that fast.
On 5 s it start to pick up speed :) but that ESC shuts down to 1/2 after 1 lap.
