boat turns right better than left and heat!

Right now there is nothing wrong with your temperatures. 130F on the motor can (not the cooling jacket) is okay, just keep below 150F on the endbell. You should start your LiPos at 100F all the time, they have less resistance there and will heat up less. In winter we use LiPo heaters to protect the cells. Even 140F is acceptable, although it is not a good idea to go higher. If you run your packs down to a 3V cutoff they could get too hot, but with a true 3.4 volt cutoff they should be fine if of decent quality. Keeping the boat's speed constant will help to control the temperatures, lots of speeding up and slowing down will heat things up.

That rudder is pretty far on the outside of the hull. I think ideally you want to get the rudder as close to the center as possible. Such a narrow hull though. An inline strudder might work better in this hull.

It is because the TORQUE tends to roll it to the right. Put your battery on the left side.

For that small of boat you are dragging that rudder. I would go for a thinner rudder...just me but it will drag mroe than it should then you end up putting anglein it. Also, set it on an edge of a board and make sure it is straight up and down...draw a line on the board with a good square and make sure it is perfectly verticle.

Thanks guy's i thought the rudder was kind of thick but it's used on other 24" boats so it should be fine i guess.... I am thinking of going to 1/8 props but mine is 3/16 on the 130 flex cable I have a cable does the OSE 3/16 ground down unit work in place of what i have now? would i need to buy a new prop dog unit in 1/8 also or will mine fit the new one?

Hey guys, so I bought a Proboat UL-19 Hydro and it’s my first one (hydroplane) ever. Forgive me for sounding a bit uneducated here (it’s because I am lol) Is this boat designed RTO (Right Turn Only)? I only ask because it has only been in the water once and it handled great (I think lol) turning right in an oval course. Left, not so much lol

Most boats turn right better due to prop rotation & torque, hydro's even more so. They are intended for right turns.
