    Turn fin adjustment

Well I got my new Pickle up and running and just Love this boat but I want to learn to tune it better. What affect does tilting the turn fin up or down have on this boat. Thanks in advance Wiz

It must be the angle the picture was taken at but is that turn fin a recommended one? Sure looks huge to me. And very deep. Did you follow Dougs instructions off the web page?

Yes Doug now uses a UL-1 fin in his setup I have it level now but wanted to know what changing the angle would do to the boat.

With that curl on it, tipping it back (up) will add to suction while tipping it forward (down) will actually create lift (not recommended). I would highly recommend keeping it level and not letting anyone talk you out of it, they RULE!!!

Play with your COG, strut height and angle and then your prop.

X440 at the end of the straight it tends to lift I was told to make the strut a little deeper but have not done it yet will try next trip to the pond. Doug said a little at a time I have a good hight tool I used for my rc cars so i can go 1/32 at a time any thoughts?
