SV27 vs BJ

After purchasing SV27's to put in my spec T29 and 1/10 spec I have been informed that the Black Jack actually has a higher KV than the older SV27. I need recommendations and explanations. Maybe UL1 in both?

BJ is the lowest KV followed by the SV27 with the UL1 the highest.
