New Hull......Longboard Boats

I was running through the Me Time Productions site and saw this hull. Anyone ever see or run one of these hulls yet? I know they are new but I really like the looks of this guy. Interesting to say the least. Someone that lives a few miles away from me has a real boat that looks exactly like this. I think I'll buy one.

it reminds me of the real STV production boat...also the 33 vee bottom looks like it could handle serious chop..a little pricey but you can tell they are a high quality boat

That looks like a modified tunnel to me. I have a GMT mod-vp outboard. It looks like a v-hull from the front and a tunnel in the back. Nice looking hull though.

i talked to andrew today of longboard boats...i plan on working with him to build one of the first electric powered vx 33 hulls...he only has run nitro with them and acheivd 45 mph with the hull...would i be crazy/stupid to stuff an neu 1527 1050kv on 8s in it? probably a dumb thing to do.. its a step bottom hull with a very deep vee..i think he said it was inspired by donzi scaled down...the thing i worry about is its width..i do not have dimensions on it but it has a tall stance and its width is thinner than most monos..also i have no experience with the handling characteristics of a step bottom..maybe i should start with a 1521 or even a leopard hobby option and see what that will do..i am doing this a s a sort of test bed for him to grow his business in the winter months and show what the hull has for potential...i will be posting the build from time to time and will be asking for input..he said he would be offering rtr as well as possible hull/hardware combos which i told him about and gave opinions on..it will be a fun project and hopefully a win win situation for both parties..any pre build suggestions/comments are welcome..this will be a sport beater setup geared for rougher waters

I would run with a 1521/1y on 5s or 6s......

No worries. I would just like these hulls to be seen they are very different from what I have ever seen.

that was a good find...he gave me a little info on the mod vp too..it was inspired by the stv production boat which he owns..you should shoot him an email..he is a real nice guy and is willing to work with the fe peoples..he has some serious equipment in his shop too and even does some custom gelcoating/painting and can make hardware from his cnc setup..thanks tth the 1521 1y is a good starting point
