Just got a X440 3 blade prop for a MM, should it be de-tongued like other Octura X props? I did it on X637, X640 and a X642, just wondering about X 3 blade props.
They can be de-toungued. I did my 440/3 for my UL-1and she runs great. I also did a 447/3 for my mono but found that it runs better with the toungue. I guess it all comes down to what you want the prop to do.
