Carbon Fibre

I was thinking of glassing a layer of carbon fibre cloth to the underside of my hatch cover. (Just to strengthen it further).
I am worried it may affect the radio range though.
Would carbon have insulating properties that could play havoc with my 2.4ghtz signal?
The hatch cover would sit right across the top of my rx.

Just make sure your antenna is isolated from touching the carbon fiber,or you may have some issues with interference.

don't have an antenna. its the tactic 2.4ght receiver.....

I carboned my boat and its now really heavy !!

Carbon fiber pretty much stops the radio signal but only having it in the hatch may not be a problem. Not sure. I suggest using fiberglass instead of carbon fiber!
