    DF 33 Prop Size

I have Delta Force 33 with a Neu 1515/1Y running on 4S2P and running a Octura X 442. I see some guys are running the M 445 what does the M 445 do for that boat and are sun of you running a different prop and what does it do for you. Is the M 445 a lifting prop like for a Hydro ?

The X-series Octura props are low lifting props and the M-series are basicly the X-series but with the tongue removed.

The 1515 is a great motor in the DF33. Not the fastest motor you can put in it but its hard to argue with the performance one can achieve with the 1515 can. Here is a link on another members build. Good info!

          DF33 Prop

Thanks for some of your input on some of the props I feel that M445 and M447 would be a good choice to try.

            What ESC??
            Be very careful with a M447. I like a M445 back cut approx 1mm running a Hydra 240.

I used to run a 1521/1y in my DF33. The motor was never hot. Always around 115-120*F. With this particular motor (1521) you could run 4s or 6s. Either way was a blast. On 6s the boat loved the M445. Speeds were in the mid-high 60's. Your setup (1515) should be good with props in the X640,X642,X442,and M445. Just remember each time you change props your boat accelleration and handling will change.

I also second Doug's comment the 447 may be a little much.
