Swap shop tip of the day

When starting a thread in the swap shop, try to be more descriptive on the title.

Ex: BBY Z27 hull is wanted

    Wrong title: BBY Z27
Reason: If I have this hull, I may not open your thread because I don't need another one.
Correct title: WTB: BBY Z27 hull
Reason: If I have one I'm willing to part with, I will surely open your thread.

    Ex: Selling a Rigged Insanity
    Wrong title: Rigged insanity
Reason: Not sure if the poster wants one or is selling one, Granted, it may get open either way, but It still helps to note your intentions in the title.
Correct title: FS: Rigged insanity RTR w/ motor-x
Reason: If I want one, I'd be quick to jump on your ad.

I know that if you pause on the title, you can see the start of the thread comments, but for those quick sales, it helps to be more descriptive.

    Thanks guys!!

I have one on the pictures. I see a lot of close up pictures that are way out of focus. Problem is most point and shoot cameras can't focus real close unless you put it in macro mode. Also turn the flash off with real close up pictures as it will most likely blow out the image. If you don't have a macro mode on your camera then back up until it does lock on focus.

Thanks for the tip Jim, I am going to try this. This has always been a problem for me when trying to take a close up. The best part of a digital camera is the "delete" button. I use it alot.

Any tips on indoor pics. When taking pics in my basement they always turn out dark, even with flash. There is lots of lighting but I end up having to take the item outside for pics. My pics always look like they are taken in the dark.

as much light as you can get without using the flash outside on an overcast day works well.
