Lipo question

can you run a 3s & 2s together,some 1 i know is running
3700,30C, 2s 7.4 V
3700,30C,3s 11.1v
Both are same make,and basically running them in series to get 5s,18.5v
Is this ok to run like this,im just curious.

Works for me------ on a 29 DF, Nemisis 8xl, Etti 150, m445 prop. The weak point was the Y harness until I made my own using 10 gauge conductor. You will notice a large difference in power. BG

Do you run in series or parallel.
as he just plugs red into black.then the other red & black connects to the ESC

Daz, you have to run the packs in series to get the voltage to 18.5v. You can get a series Y adapter from OSE. TTYL BG

gotcha,its just when you said about y adapter,cos he plugs red in to black between the 2 batts,then the remaining red and black to ESC.
