OK, so I am watching a U-tube movie and that leads to one, then another and another. Suddenly you are watching something that you never searched for nor new it existed.
so I see a video on fiberglassing with RTM method. Never had heard of this before so I watched it. Two part mold, gives you a smooth interior also.
What are the benefits to this other than a smooth inside and very consistent layup? I can see applications, but not for a RC boat hull.
thought I post this under the "Huh, how about that!
" Category.
Now, an inner and a outer mold that allows two layups with a gap between. Then pour in some expanding foam and clamp the two pieces together. Smooth inside and outside, sandwich core construction like a Boston Whaler. That would be neat. Bit overkill, but neat!
