    mean machine

    i am looking at mean mach hull .is it possible to power on 600? can i gear one, or run two cans i know you will say brushless but i cant swing it right now. I am running 10c 600 on 50amp esc in 24''boat can go to 14c but i know this wont work here .I respect all your advice.

    I have one I run on 14nimh cells and a 700 motor. It will run in the 25-30mph range. Not barn burner. It wont have enough on a 600 motor.

      I agree with Steven there. Look into a smaller cat hull. Horizon sells the BlackJack hull for about 130 + 15 for the hatch. Same price as the MM and you will get better results with a brushed motor due to the scaled down size. It will not be a simple build however. You will need to adapt a strut and rudder or buy the stock drive system. If you don't mind ABS the Scat cat 21 for 70 bux would motor pretty good on your 600 with 8 cells. Be carfull of the voltage limits of that motor.It to also would need a full hardware setup. I believe I have somthing laying around. Pm me of thats the direction you go. Good luck and have fun.
