my connectors are getting hott!!!

im running ul-1 stock other than prop 40X52. i have real traxxas connectors on my speed control but my venom batt's dont have the real traxxas female connectors. they're getting REAL hot...is this because of the cheap venom connectors?

If you're running Venom NiMH packs ... Lots O Luck ... poorest quality battery I've had the misfortune of purchasing - - TOTAL GARBAGE !!!
