    Micro Scat Cat

My cousin and i are getting ready to build a BBY Micro Scat Cat. We are starting to buy the hardware, and i was wondering if this set-up would work well with the micro scat cat?

i have a micro scat cat and i have though about using that hardware set but i ended up making my own set, i was running an inline set like this one and i did not like the setup, it was kinda hard to get it setup right, and also did not turn very well, ive since changed up to an offset rudder and it is performing much better, turns on a dime and rides like its on rails!

So you think that the offset rudder is better? Cuz it seems like most (larger cats at least) use inline rudders.

I can say that offset is better based on one hull that I tried inline and off set on.

In general it appears than most run off set and I now certainly do.
For me right side is where my rudder goes as it works well there.
I ran my big cat with twin rudders and tried left and right as a single rudder and noticed very little difference in turning ability.
In all fairness my hulls turn at a slow speed as the water I run on is quite narrow.
