Depends on speed controller you are using. Some older ones will only work with 2 pole BL motors so if you have anything else you cant fix it with a setting. On the other hand if your esc will do multi poled motors check to see (if you can) what start up power its set for. Most esc have soft start as the default mode. Change it to hard start and see if that fixes it. Timing or motor advance setting could be an issue as well.
there is a formula fastech 27" and I'm really disappointed because I thought everything was going to work properly I 'really like to find a solution
Try changing the timing. From the instructions the esc is set to 15 deg. Try going down to one of the lower timing settings and see if it changes anything. Take it down to zero or try the 3 degree setting. If nothing else, bump it up just for S&G and see if more timing improves the start up. You can always go back to the default setting if nothing improves.
If you mean the motor stutters then that is a sign that the controller is having a hard time reading the motor. That is a software issue and no change you make in the controller will fix it. My schulze controllers use to do the same thing when the Neu motors first came out. I was able to get a partial fix by adding some more capacitors. This helped but I still ended up having to send my motor and controller back to Schulze so they could fix the software. Try adding some caps and see if that helps.
