having a problem viewing pics with droid

First of all. Verizon is my carrier
When I had my blackberry storm I could click on picture to view it larger and a black "see through" page would open up with the enlarged picture viewable
Now since I switched to the Motorola Droid when I try to enlarge a picture all I get is the black screen with no picture

Anyone else experience this?

No I haven't and neither has my Wife. What Firmware version is your Droid running? By the way I just got my new Droid in the mail, my first one got a ton of dust under the screen and it was driving me crazy.

I am not sure why but you have to hold your finger on the pic and then select open.
