    What size esc?

What size esc would be good for a 16oz cracker box hull with a 380can 2850kv. Not looking to break any speed records here. just a fun floater for the Ole Lady.....

It really depends on the mfg of the motor. a good start should be 30-45A

I dont see any markings on the motor or the package for the voltage. I know the king of shaves has the Venom V380 2880kv motors with 60a esc's. Should I go with that? 60a esc? Just to play it safe.

60A is very safe, I was talking about what battery do you intend to run? 2S 3S 4S etc...

Oh . I'm thinkin I'm only gonna go 2s on this setup. Now if I can get away with a smaller esc and save some $$$ that would be better. Could I go with a 30 or 40a esc on 2s?

                  2S. I'd feel comfortable with a 45A

Go with a 60A if you even think you will try 3S
