That setup should work great i have a sv27 with a ammo 2300 doing 45.6 mph on a 40mm prop !! its a great motor would recommend the aquacraft ul1 speedo works great ! hope this helps. With that prop you should break 50mph

Instead of buying a new motor why don't you change the motor timing of the fastech to high and run 5 or even 6s with the stock motor. IMO stock motor is better than the ammo 2300. JMO

I have a turnigy 180A marine and the timing on my stock is 11.25 ° in 4s and I want to see the difference with the 2300kv ammo with the same config

I agree, the proboat motor has more torque. Upgrade your batteries!

I think thats like comparing apples and oranges. Reason I say that is just because you keep everything the same and only change motors thats not a good test reason being is on 4s the ammo is going to spin a whole lot faster than the stock motor because of the high kv rating of the ammo. But with the ammo your really limited on prop selection you can't go bigger than a 42mm and prob the best prop would be like a x440, you might get away with a x642, but watch your temps. With the torque of the stock motor you can swing a bigger prop and it can handle more voltage than the ammo. I'm just saying that with the test you want to do the ammo is going to out perform stock based on your setup, but that doesn't make it a better motor.
