kokam lipo

i have this Kokam 7.4 1250mah lipo battery its 3"x1.5" and was wondering if anyone runs this battery. i run it in my mirco patriot and the thing gets pretty hot! it doesnt even get warm when i charge it. wonder if my setup is too much? anyone have this happen? is this normal?
