and heres another good part about swordfish

Like I said we did get a bad 240 out of the box but the replacement we got back had been modified with beefier wiring.......much bigger than the ones in the pics on OSE site

this tells me that swordfish or hifei is on top of things....and as far as "water proof"........eric did seal in the ends of the esc with clear silicone caulking and it did get dunked and still runs fine

      NO again.

The programming cards are totally different.

The first photo is the HIFEI (Swordfish) card.
The second photo is the Hobbywing (turnigy) card

But these are. One is from Hobby King and one is from OSE. They are both Hifei. The Hobbywing versions are different.

Try not to confuse the Turnigy "AQUASTAR" with the Turnigy "MARINE" they are two different models by two different companies.

I hope this didn't make it more confusing?

HobbyWing Seaking and Turnigy Aquastar are the same. They are the last version with a water-proof PCB (like Swordfish)

Turnigy Marine is the old version from HobbyWing, this one isn' t water proof

I never saw that version of the Seaking. It probably isn't the same but more of a copy.

EDIT: After checking it out it does not appear to be a Hifei. The Hifei's programming and features are totally different.

I have absolutely no idea why I'm posting this , but here's a HobbyWing 30A speed control I bought from HobbyPartz for
$ 11.00 - the programming card was $ 7.95. Shipped for $ 4.95 locally [CA] - works fine-I actually have one in each of two helis. Go figure !

Yep. Aircraft versions. They work great. Not water cooled.

I realize it's a bit confusing. Two different manufacturers involved. Turnigy is just the 'house brand' put on things by Hobbyking.

Seaking and Turnigy are the same. Both are made my Hobbywing.

Swordfish is Swordfish made by Hifei.
So, Turnigy Aquastar and Swordfish are the same and made by Hifei (they look the same)
and, Turnigy Marine and Seaking are the same and made by Hobbywing...

                    I think that's right...LOL
